Run by small holding and catering company Home Gurr’own: The local rustic Kent wedding fair is perfect for all Kent and East Sussex couples. The fair was created for those wanting inspiration and help planning their perfect outdoor ‘barn farm’ rustic styled wedding.
At the fair couples have the chance to speak to a wonderful array of friendly local Kent vendors. This includes suppliers such as, photographers, cake makers, florists, jewellery, lighting, hair stylists, celebrants, favours and more.
The most recent fair was held on 1st May 2022 in our new Tree Marquee. Since it is fresh in our minds we thought this a great opportunity to share with you a few of the wonderful suppliers. As well as a few images of each of our tents showcased at that fair!

Now to showcase our very own tents
At the recent Rustic Kent Wedding Fair we had three tents on show, a single hat tipi, 12 x 12m sailcloth tent and finally our brand new tree marquee. Although we showcased the smallest of each style of tent, that gave couples the opportunity to get a feel for the proportions and how to decorate.
The Tree Marquee

The Tree Marquee is a sustainably built marquee with ecological values at its core. The timber frame is made from Douglas fir, all grown, harvested and felled in the UK. The tree marquee is a truly unique and stunning structure that we are lucky enough to be the only supplier in the South East of.

Nordic Tipi
Authentic nordic tipi hire, we have two main sizes of tipi to choose from: The Giant Hat and the Kungsörnen. The Giant Hat is the larger of the two with a 10.3m diameter. Our Tipi hire offers something different to a standard frame tent that with wow your guests.

The poles are solid timber, sustainably sourced and cut from forests in Scandinavia. The fabric feels like a traditional canvas but is an advanced textile that keeps your guests cool in the summer and cosy in the winter.
Sailcloth Tent
Our marquee hire range now includes our beautiful wooden pole Sailcloth tents. These tents are sure to provide a stunning structure for your wedding or event.
Constructed using wooden centre poles and side poles so that a more vintage look is achieved straight away. We’ve even got vintage banner flags, which can sit on top and look great in photos.
